Demo made for Acerola DirtJam. Made with odinlang, OpenGL and SDL
During this jam, I learned how Perlin noise works, FBM, UBO in OpenGL and how to make some nice stuff with shaders. I learned how to use imgui.
What I did:
- Terrain generation (mostly rewritten from Acerola's godot example)
- Phong lightning
- Steeper mountains with abs() in FBM
- Exponential fog
- Ray marched shadows
- Sky with sun
- Some imgui for debugging
